Use of grabaseat reverse auctions (https://grabaseat.co.nz/secure/auctions)
(the "Website") and all bids submitted through the Website are
subject to the following terms and conditions (the "Terms and
Conditions"). By using the Website and/or submitting a bid through
the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to be bound to these Terms and Conditions, you
should not use the Website.
- All bidders must be 18 years or over and a New Zealand resident to become a register bidder. You must register as a bidder prior to making a bid. Registration needs to be completed for each day that you intend to make one or more bids.
- Fare includes applicable ticketed taxes and surcharges but excludes local airport departure fees collected at departure. The cabin class, fare type and the number of airfares included in each auction item is specified under the description of each auction item. Travel is only valid for travel on the route specified in the successful bid.
- In the event of a tied bid, the person who submitted the bid first will be selected as a successful bidder.
- By submitting a bid, you agree and acknowledge that the bid is an offer to purchase flights at the price specified in your bid and once submitted shall not be retractable.
- Air New Zealand is not obliged to accept any bid that fails to meet the reserve. The reserve is the minimum price that Air New Zealand will accept for the auction item. If the reserve is not met, the auction item will be passed in.
- All bids are made subject to the terms and conditions stated herein.
- If you are the successful bidder you are legally obligated to complete payment.
- Payment must be made by credit card only. Upon completion of the auction, the successful bidder will be notified that his or her bid has been successful. The successful bidder's credit card will be charged (using the credit card details supplied at the time of registration) once all travellers details have been completed.
- All flights must be taken on the dates and times specified above and all passengers must travel together.
- Air New Zealand reserves the right to exclude any person from accessing the Website who attempts to tamper with the bidding process or who fails to complete payment in accordance with these terms and conditions.
- You are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents and visas and for complying with all country entry/transit requirements.
- By successfully completing a bid you are deemed to have read and accepted all terms and conditions relating to this item, including without limitation, Air New Zealand's Conditions of Carriage and the fare conditions applicable to the flights specified.
- Flights are on aircraft operated by Air New Zealand and are subject to routing restrictions. No stopovers permitted. Once booked flights are not transferable.
- Some flights are not eligible for accrual of Airpoints Dollars™ but will earn Status Points. Please check fare conditions prior to submitting your bid.
- Unaccompanied minors are not permitted to travel using these fares. Subject to availability you may purchase additional seats for children or infants. These additional seats will be charged at standard Air New Zealand rates applicable at the time of your booking.
- The resale of any item (or attempt) is strictly prohibited. Without limiting the foregoing, no item shall be used for advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes without the prior written authorisation of Air New Zealand.
- Changes/Cancellation: Your ability to change or cancel any booking is subject to the fare conditions of the flights purchased. Any change to or cancellation of your booking may incur charges or cancellation fees. Some fares are non-refundable and change restrictions apply. Please check fare conditions prior to submitting your bid.
- We may from time to time change or modify these Terms and Conditions and will notify you of this by updating the "last updated" notice beside the link to these Terms and Conditions. By continuing to access and use the Website, you agree to be bound by the amended Terms and Conditions.
- Air New Zealand Conditions of Carriage and Airpoints terms and conditions apply.
- Use of the Website is governed by Air New Zealand's Website Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference.
- If any part of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
- Where you purchase or hold yourself out as purchasing our services for the purposes of a business the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand) will not apply to the supply of such services.
- These Terms and Conditions will be governed by New Zealand law and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
